Keep Your Confidence

Updated: Jan 3

With so much going on in the world today such as inflation, high food and gas prices, job losses, and shortages, not to mention our own personal life challenges, it can be very difficult to remain confident and encouraged. However, I want to remind you of Hebrews 10:35-37 which says: So, do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.

Confidence is belief that you can rely on someone or something or to have a firm trust in someone or something. Do you have confidence in our loving Father who gave his only begotten son that we might live? I certainly hope so as I know he is faithful and true to his Word.

If you have a problem or situation that seems bigger than you, I want to encourage you to NOT cast away or throw away (meaning to give up) your confidence in God. Did you know right before your manifestation, things happening in your life will seem worst and temptations will be more tempting or greater, but Father God is still in control of it all. You must trust the process. Now what is the process? The process is usually the steps it takes to get you to a place of surrender and dependency on God. Process means: a series of actions or steps taken to achieve a particular end or result.

When you are walking by faith, the enemy’s job is to discourage you and shatter your confidence and that is why he shows you the PROBLEM AND NOT THE PROMISE. Keep believing and focus on God’s promises.

With greater problems or trials just know that you manifestation must be on its way! The blessing is in keeping your confidence and faith in God during it all! Therefore, Keep your confidence and be persuaded that God will help and deliver you. Romans 4:21 says, And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

I don’t mean to inundate you with scriptures, but God’s Word is the true source that gives us encouragement and faith! Here is one more scripture that can help — II Corinthians 4:17 that says, for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. That’s why you can’t faint! That’s why you can’t quit! That’s why you can’t give up. There’s something great up the road so keep driving through life! What you are going through cannot compare to what God has in store for you. You must believe that it is all working together for your good. No, you cannot not see it because God works behind the scenes. Trust Him.
